In the case of HERITAGE PAINTS coatings, returns will only be considered after on-site inspection of application sites. (This is to confirm that all preparation, priming and application techniques have been followed correctly).

Accessory items and products not manufactured by HERITAGE PAINTS that are found to be faulty or inferior may be returned.


Returns due to incorrect colour choice/s for items will not be considered where a colour choice is made directly from viewing and approving, on a computer or mobile device screen, or after utilizing the option to choose a colour/s after approving a Paint and Colour Verifying Sample Card/s from our online store.

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. A 10% handling fee will be charged for any returns excluding shipping costs.


Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.


Who do we ship with?


They deliver between 08:00 and 17:00 on working weekdays (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

How long will it take?

Most of our products are already manufactured and held in stock. Where volumes exceed the norm, we would require an additional 3 to 5 days for manufacturing and then dispatch to the shipping company.

Goods in stock will be shipped in 3 to 5 days to main centres and 5 to 7 working days for outlying areas. If we are under loadshedding and goods are not in stock, please allow for 2 to 3 additional days for delivery. You will be notified via email when your order has been dispatched along with the courier company info and tracking number of your parcel/order.

Delivery times, as above, should be used as an estimated guide and begin from the date of dispatch. Heritage Paints cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the courier/logistics company.

Important Information.

Orders require a signature upon receipt so please ensure that someone will be present to sign when received.

Kindly supply a telephone number for all orders as the courier company will contact you on the day of delivery to confirm if there is someone present to receive the goods. We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

Please be aware that the above delivery times do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization, loadshedding, courier delays that may be caused by robberies or hijackings.
